Terms of use

Version of October 8, 2026. This translation is provided for convenience: in case of any difference, the French version prevails.

1. Purpose

TCG Bro is an app that connects trading card game (TCG) collectors who live near each other, so they can trade their cards hand to hand. TCG Bro does not sell any cards and does not take part in trades.

2. Access

  • The app is for people aged 16 or over. You confirm your age when you sign up.
  • You can browse the app without an account. An account is required to add cards, propose a trade or message a player.
  • One account per person. You are responsible for access to your email inbox, which is used to sign in.

3. Trades

  • Trades take place between players, under their sole responsibility. TCG Bro is not a party to the trade and guarantees neither the authenticity nor the condition of the cards.
  • Sales, payments or postal shipping between players do not go through TCG Bro. The app is designed for hand-to-hand trading.
  • We recommend meeting at a trade spot (partner shop) or a busy public place, and checking sleeved cards before confirming.
  • Confirming a trade in the app confirms that it actually took place. Each player can then rate the other.

4. Rules of conduct

It is forbidden to:

  • offer counterfeit cards or lie about their condition;
  • harass, threaten or insult another player;
  • repeatedly fail to show up to a meetup;
  • use TCG Bro to sell, advertise or collect data;
  • post illegal, hateful or sexual content;
  • get around a suspension by creating another account.

5. Reporting and moderation

  • You can report or block a player from their player card. Reports are confidential.
  • In case of a breach, we may suspend an account temporarily or permanently. A suspension cancels ongoing trades.

6. Ratings and reviews

Reviews must reflect a real trading experience. We may remove a clearly abusive review.

7. Intellectual property

  • Pokémon, Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh! and the other games mentioned are trademarks of their respective owners. TCG Bro is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by them.
  • Card images come from public databases and remain the property of their publishers. They are only used to identify the cards players actually own. Any rights holder may request the removal of content at contact@tcgbro.app: it will be removed promptly.
  • TCG Bro's visual identity (name, logo, card frames, illustrations) belongs to TCG Bro.

8. Liability

TCG Bro does its best to keep the service available, without being able to guarantee it at all times. TCG Bro is not responsible for how meetups between players go or for the cards traded.

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. All your data is then erased (see the privacy policy).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. In case of a significant change, we will ask you to accept them again.

11. TCG Bro Supporter

Trading cards is free, forever. Becoming a TCG Bro Supporter lets you support the app (servers, cards, new games); as a thank-you, Supporters get a few perks (radar up to 50 km instead of 20, travel mode, the "who wants your cards" list, free boosts, Supporter badge, Gold icon). Support is not a donation: it is an in-app purchase, subject to the terms of the App Store or Google Play.

Support is a monthly or yearly subscription that renews automatically, at the price shown in the app. It is billed by Apple or Google to your store account, and renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid.

Free trial: on your first subscription, a free week may be offered (once per Apple or Google account). Nothing is charged during the trial; if you don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the subscription starts at the price shown. Boosts can also be bought one at a time or in packs of 5; a purchased boost is not refundable once used, unless Apple or Google decides otherwise.

When support ends, the perks stop: the radius goes back to 20 km and any ongoing trip ends. On devices without in-app purchases, a 7-day free trial with no payment method may be offered instead, once per account.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, please write to us first at contact@tcgbro.app: we always look for an amicable solution. In accordance with the French Consumer Code (articles L611-1 et seq.), you may also use a consumer mediator free of charge. Failing an agreement, the competent courts are those provided for by law; as a consumer, you may bring the matter before the court of your place of residence.
