Child safety standards
Last updated: October 8, 2026
TCG Bro lets collectors trade their cards hand to hand. Protecting minors is a priority: this page describes our rules against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and how we enforce them.
Zero tolerance
TCG Bro strictly prohibits any content or behavior that exploits, sexualizes or endangers a minor, including:
- any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), whether real, drawn or generated;
- soliciting or grooming a minor, including under the pretext of a card trade;
- asking a minor for photos, private contact details or a meeting outside a public place;
- sharing information that could be used to locate a minor.
Any account that breaks these rules is permanently deleted, without prior warning.
Minimum age
The app is for people aged 16 or over. Date of birth is requested at sign-up and accounts that don't meet this requirement are refused.
Protections in the app
- Approximate location: the location shown to other players is rounded, never exact.
- Public places: meetups take place at public trade spots (partner shops, recommended places).
- Automatic chat filters: insults, phone numbers and contact details are blocked.
- Photos limited to cards: for a trade, the app only opens the camera (never the gallery) to photograph the card offered. No other photo sharing is possible between players.
Reporting a problem
- In the app, from a player's card (also reachable from the chat): Report or Block, in two taps. Reports are confidential.
- By email: contact@tcgbro.app (subject "Child safety").
Every report related to a minor's safety is handled as a priority, within 24 hours by a human moderator. The content is removed and the account suspended during the review.
Cooperation with authorities
We comply with applicable child protection laws. Any child sexual abuse material or situation endangering a minor is reported to the competent authorities, notably through the French PHAROS platform (internet-signalements.gouv.fr) and to the NCMEC where applicable. Data relevant to an investigation is kept and handed over on legal request.
Designated contact
For any question about child safety on TCG Bro: contact@tcgbro.app. Responsible person: Hachem Sefrioui, publisher of the app (see the legal notice).
